Dieser Beitrag geht aus moderner psychiatrischer Perspektive der Frage nach, inwiefern sich Paulus in Phil 1,21-25 wirklich den Freitod bzw. Suizid überlegt. Die Antwort fällt negativ aus, sowohl aufgrund einer modernen psychiatrischen Analyse wie auch aufgrund einiger exegetischer Überlegungen.
This contribution considers the question whether Paul considers the possibility of suicide in Philippians 1:21-25. This is done from the perspective of modern psychiatry. The answer to the question is negative, both because of the results of the psychiatric analysis and of an exegetical analysis.
