By means of transcendental epistemology Simon L. Frank achieves an insight into essentially transrational reality. Although beyond the scope of rationality, this reality is neither illogical nor purely opaque. Instead, in the “living knowledge” of the subject it turns out to be a self-evident reality. Based on this reality a philosophically promising “absolute realism” may be established.
