In the English-speaking debate, there has for some time been a heated scholarly discussion concerning the Incarnation of God the Son. Following the criticism put forward by John Hick, some thinkers contend that the two-nature theory of the incarnation is incoherent. Christian philosophers of religion and theologians are currently trying to show in many different ways that a Godman is conceivable without any inconsistencies.
