Invitations and Encounters: An Interpretation of a Poem by Ulla Hahn. The poem «Mein Gott» describes a visit of friends and their reactions to a picture of the crucified Christ. This impression stimulates a journey through childhood and adolescence which is parallel to Ulla Hahn’s autobiography. From a perspective of the New Testament the poem can be read as a witness of Christian spirituality today.
