Christ Our Peace: The World Day of Prayer in Assisi. The meetings of the world’s religions to pray for peace in Assisi are part of the lasting legacy of Pope John Paul II. For him and his successors peace is christologically founded and has a theological dimension of creation. In interreligious dialogue, Christianity adopts a christological kenosis-attitude and works with that in the world.
