Sacramentum Rhetoricum. Evangelisch-katholische Überlegungen zur aktuellen Predigt. Der katholische Gottesdienst hat sich im Laufe der letzten Generationen protestantischer gestaltet, der protestantische Gottesdienst hingegen katholischer. In dieser Hinsicht ist die katholische Predigt sakramentaler geworden, die protestantische Liturgie hingegen spiritueller. Dieser Artikel vertritt die These, dass die Predigt in beiden Kirchen ein rhetorisches und didaktisches Phänomen sein muss, um den Menschen eine Gotteserfahrung und mehr Freiheit zu vermitteln. Darüber hinaus ist die Predigt ein Beispiel für die Kunst der öffentlichen Rede.
Sacramentum Rhetoricum. Reflections on the Sermon and Homiletics in Protestant and Catholic Perspective. The Catholic service has become more Protestant in the course of the last generations and Protestant service more catholic vice versa. In that regard the Catholic sermon became more sacramental and the Protestant liturgy more spiritual. This article argues that the sermon in both churches must be a rhetoric and a didactic phenomenon to enrich people with an experience of God and more freedom. Moreover, the sermon is an example for the art of public speech.
