Hermeneutic of Reform – Reform of the Hermeneutics: Progress and Renewal in the Church’s Tradition. Beside questions of family and marriage care the post-synodal exhortation Amoris laetita is concerned with the hermeneutics of dogma and tradition. How does Church teaching develop and how can such a development and renewal be described appropriately? How far does a hermeneutics of reform go towards understanding the dogmatic and liturgical renewal of the Church which, from the side of the traditionalists, are said to be evidence that the Second Vatican Council did not faithfully continue tradition any more, but broke with it?
