The Fascination of Jihad: Juergen Manemann on Jihadism and Nihilism. The german political philosopher and theologian Juergen Manemann approaches the problem of Jihadism through a critical view on European societies. His conclusion is that Jihadism and Islamistic Terror are not essentially connected with Islam as a religion, but rather triggered by cultural crises and social pathologies, especially the western Nihilism.
