Dark Sacrality: On Paolo Sorrentinos «The Young Pope». This review sheds light on the characteristics of the pope displayed in Sorrentinos serial drama. The fictional Pope Pius XIII can be understood as a anti-typical and satirical depiction of current interpretations of papacy.
