Obligations and Rights. Aspects of Participatory Ecclesiology in the Code of Canon Law. The demand for greater participation is becoming increasingly important in the church. The article provides the basis for the participation of all Christian faithful in ecclesiastical constitutional law and emphasizes the important connection between rights and obligations in fulfilling the Church’s mission. The special responsibility of the shepherds of the Church is not diminished by the participation of the faithful.
