Karl Barth’s Pneumatology. The paper examines the main features of Karl Barth’s pneumatology, that occupies a key position in his theology. According to Barth, all theology is «pneumatic theology». Therefore its place is not only in the material dogmatics, but already in the Prolegomena. The interweaving of pneumatology and Christology is shown on the basis of the filioque. Also the close connection between dogmatics and ecclesiology in Barth is revealed pneumatologically. Ecclesiology is in turn part of his pneumatology. The integration of ethics into dogmatics, which is characteristic of Barth, is also justified pneumatologically. Finally, pneumatology is the field in which Barth determines his relationship to Schleiermacher.
