Die Auffassung, das Sprichwörterbuch würde aufgrund seiner Überschriften in sieben Teile gegliedert, ist weit verbreitet. Dieser Aufsatz betrachtet vor allem Spr 22,17 kritisch, da LXX nicht taugt, um eine Überschrift in diesem Vers zu rekonstruieren. Spr 22,17-21 ist ein Paratext für die folgenden Verse und zugleich Bestandteil des Textes ab Spr 10,1. Spr 22,17-21 sind daher nur für eine Gliederung von Spr 10,1-24,22 brauchbar, nicht aber für eine Makrogliederung des Sprichwörterbuchs.
It is widely agreed among scholars, that seven superscriptions divide the Book of Proverbs. This article argues for a new perspective on Prov 22:17 because a reconstruction of a superscription via LXX lacks valide arguments. Furthermore Prov 22:17-21 is a paratext for the following as well as a part of the text that starts with Prov 10:1. Therefore Prov 22:17-21 divides the collection Prov 10-24:22 but cannot be used to divide the book into seven parts.
