Stefan Einsiedel: Socio-Ecological Transformation and its Adjusting Screws
With the study “How social-ecological transformation can succeed”, the members of the expert panel “Global Economy and Social Ethics” of the German Bishops’ Conference coined the concept of central “adjusting screws” that can facilitate change or break up blockades that hinder change. The following article shows how the expert group positions itself in the broad field of interdisciplinary transformation research and gives an overview of its central recommendations.

Dans leur étude « Comment la transformation socio-écologique peut réussir », les membres du groupe d’experts « Economie mondiale et Ethique sociale » de la Conférence épiscolale d’Allemagne ont forgé le terme de « vis de réglages centrales ». Celles-ci peuvent briser les blocus et faciliter le changement. L’article montre comment le groupe d’experts se positionne dans le vaste domaine de recherche interdisciplinaire en matière de transformation et donne un aperçu de ses principales recommandations.
