Marco Bonacker: Inclusion as a Theological-Social-Ethical Leading Category. Education for All as a Key to a Fair Society
The term inclusion bundles a number of meanings that reach beyond the aspects contained in the UN convention on the rights of persons with disabilities. It describes the demand for social justice in a more comprehensive form. As a theological leading category inclusion must be seen within the context of the order of creation and wants to translate the human dignity founded herein into reality. Social-ethically it is based on solidary thinking, itself being the requirement for the implementation of subsidiary structures. Within an institutionalized society the term inclusion has a strategic signifi cance most of all in the education sector, since education creates the basis for the exercise of other rights.

Le terme d’inclusion rassemble une multitude de signifi cations qui dépassent les aspects contenus dans la Convention de l’ONU relative aux Personnes Handicapées. Il décrit, de façon détaillée, le postulat de la justice sociale. En tant que catégorie théologique guide, l’inclusion s’inscrit dans l’ordre de la création et se propose de traduire dans les faits la dignité humaine qui y trouve son fondement. Du point de vue de l’éthique sociale, elle repose sur la pensée solidaire, celleci étant la condition de la réalisation de structures subsidiaires. Dans une société marquée par des institutions, le terme d’inclusion a une signifi cation stratégique majeure dans le domaine de la formation ; car c’est la formation qui crée la base permettant de jouir d’autres droits.
